Floor material schedules

- [Instructor] When doing material takeoffs for floors, floors should actually be done in slightly different way. When it comes to the construction of floor, usually we have one slab that is going underneath everything on an entire level and then we put a material on top of that. That is why we need to do installation for our phase and that's why we're going to put our material in this way. So, I'm going to go up to my Architecture ribbon and I'm going to click on Floor and I'm going to select, and there's a few that are already in here, so we're just going to use one of these. So, I'm going to select Carpet. The thing to remember when it comes to this is you need to make sure that the height offset is set properly. In this particular case, it actually is. You look at what the thickness of that material is, which for this carpet, it's 1/4 of an inch, and you make sure that your height offset matches that at 1/4 of an inch.…
