Foundation slabs

Foundation slabs
- [Instructor] Sometimes we're going to have a foundation that is massive, such as the type that support an elevator shaft. In this video, we're going to be adding a foundation slab to the bottom of our elevator. We'll then cut a hole in it for our sump. So jumping into Revit, we'll go to structural-12. In the project browser let's go down to our top of footing level. Let's zoom in to where our elevator is. Go to the structure tab. Let's go to the slab button and select that. Notice that we have a pick walls choice. So we'll keep it on pick walls. But for offset, we'll go to 254 millimeters. Hold down your pan button and kind of pan around in the view here. That way it takes the focus out of the offset tab Hover over one of these foundation walls, but don't select it. Hit your tab key, and then select it. Hit escape a couple times. This time on the draw panel, click on pick lines. We'll make a little sump right…
