- [Instructor] We've taken a look at how we can create some custom materials for wood for our guitar, as well as plastics and metal and working with some decals and logos. Let's now take a look at how we can place subtle details, like these guitar strings here and how we can work with that. So for simple and thin objects, the best approach is to work with something repeatable. Building the material for the guitar strings allows us to use a smaller texture and repeat or tile the image across the mesh. Let's hit F11 and get out of this screen. Let's go in and create a material for this. I'm going to go into my materials folder and what I want to actually create here, in this example of what I've created, if we go back into our large screen. You can see this subtle detail that I've created on here. We're going to take a look at how that was created. I'll just build it once again here from scratch inside our material directory here.
