- [Instructor] So now that we have our imported CAD data, laying over the top of our STL data, I'm going to go ahead and inspect back to some of the planar sections. And there's also additional tools for, basically, comparing the STL to the actual CAD data. So, I'm just going to come over here and show some of these planar sections. (computer keys clicking) Now, as a take a look at these little planar sections you can see that (computer keys clicking) as I zoom in, there's going to be some differences. Okay, so this is why it's kind of nice to have those planar sections. You'll be able to pick up those differences, sometimes a little easier than looking at the STL. And this one kind of just screams at me. Now, I'm just going to go ahead and hide the STL for now and go to Measure Between. I'm going to use a mode called picking point and surface only. What this allows me to do is pick a location somewhere on that section and the surface below it. Once I do that, brings up my…
