LEED scorecard

- The LEED scorecard, also called a Project Checklist, is a one-page document that provides information on the pursued LEED rating system, adaptation, and version of LEED, as well as, which credits are targeted. Let's dissect a LEED Scorecard, to understand how to read and interpret one. I remember how lost I felt the first time I looked at a LEED Scorecard. This one sheet of paper includes quite a bit of information. Let's start on top. The very first part of the top line shows the version of LEED that is being pursued. In this example, it is LEED version four. The next part shows the rating system, BD plus C, followed by the adaptation, New Construction and Major Renovation. Next, you can see the LEED credits that are assigned a number of points, and prerequisites on top of each LEED category that are mandatory with no points assigned to them.
