- [Instructor] If you're looking to have a career in any of the BIM management fields, I really recommend getting a LinkedIn account, and setting it up with all the information that you have available to you. You can fill in such information as the information that you would have on your cover letter, introducing yourself in your career goals. You can have information related to each of the jobs that you've worked on in the past, and you can attach images to each one of those jobs showing the kind of work that you've done in each on of those positions. So LinkedIn can act as your cover letter, it can act as your resume, it can act as your portfolio. Also, LinkedIn allows people in your area to search for you, so you're no longer limited to needing to just send in a cover letter or a resume. Instead people that are looking to hire individuals like you, can then search for people in your area with your qualifications, and then if you're on LinkedIn you'll then pop up in the search…
