- [Voiceover] I like to bring this subject up, because it's one that really needs to be standardized up front. Sheet numbering and naming. What the NCS does is it takes into account all trades, and begins the sequencing from there. Also, what it does is gives you an order in which to present your drawings in a set. Of course this doesn't come with some disagreement. Every trade seems to think their trade should be first. Of course. It's funny. I always get the comment, "If we don't follow this standard, will the NCS please come get us?" No. They won't. But if you have the upper management support, like I mentioned earlier, your CEO might. So let's take a look and review our numbering sequence. So, now as you can see, your Discipline Designators. This is the letter that comes at the beginning of your drawing. So you're sheet naming by discipline. Each trade obviously has a designator. And here they all are. You can pretty much find something that's close to your trade, if you don't…
