The Measure (MEASUREGEOM) command

- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now, where we're going to be looking at the measure tools in the utilities panel, in your AutoCAD ribbon. Now in the previous chapter we covered all the other commands that were available in the utilities panel. You'll find the utilities panel on the home tab, and the AutoCAD ribbon is right here and as you can see if I pin that open there's the commands that we looked at in the last chapter. Now the measure command is this one here. If I click there, there's lots of different tools for measuring. You have quick measure, distance you also have radius, angle, area and volume you'll notice. And if I hover over each of these they all literally go to MEASUREGEOM, as in measure geometry. So that will measure the volume, that'll measure the area, angle, radius, distance and quick as well.
