Metal fresnel effect

- [Instructor] There are many ways to work with reflections and the overall metalness of a surface in Unreal. Producing interesting effects to make an object or a scene more interesting, really is the end goal. Let's look at how we can make the chrome fresnel appear to have a different tint and our guitar components. So we have this chrome material that we've previously created and what we want to do is, look at how we can play with that overall fresnel effect. If you recall this fresnel effect is how this specularity of roughness is falling off the surface. So it's kind of that overall specularity that we're working with on this chrome. And if you look at what we have here, let's hit F11, on these little components of our guitar, you can see that really what we're working with is our chrome material and the speculiarty of roughness, the overall metalness that we're seeing, is really white and then we're getting reflections, of course, in the environment.
