- Revit actually knows you added a brace frame, and will also add symbology on the floor above automatically. What I'd like to spend just a little time doing is investigating the settings related to brace frames. There are just a couple symbols to choose from, but it's worth it for the video. Let's jump into Structural-36. Let's go to level two. See that little dashed line? That's right. That's our brace frame. I'm going to move this out of the way. We can change how this is displayed. Go to the structure tab. If you see this little drop down arrow, we can go to structural settings. Notice that we can show brace above, we can show brace below, and we can change the plan representations. So instead of parallel line, we can go line with angle, and that's going to change these as a default. So let's see how that looks. Click OK. Look at that, it changed it.
