- [Instructor] Let's take a look at another specification and how it's laid out. The spec section Selective Demolition is 02 4119. As I scroll down through here, you'll notice that Part 1 is very well identified and it gets right into a lot of these, like I said administrative type items. 1.1 Related Documents. If there's any other documents that are related to it or associated with it, they'd be listed here. In the summary, it tells you about what's happening with the spec section, what the contractor should be doing. 1.3's Definitions. This is always important that we we're all on the same page using the right language. 1.4, Materials Ownership. Always important to know who owns the property or the materials. 1.5 says Information Submittals. Anything that needs to be submitted to the owner for approval before this work happens, you see down here pre-demolition photographs or video. This is a good protective step for the contractor.
