- [Instructor] One troubleshooting tip I feel I should share when it comes to painting materials on walls. If you want to have a wall that has two different materials on it, it has to be two separate walls. So for instance, I have this wall here. On one part of the wall on one side and I'll say about going this way, I want it to look one way and going this way, I want it to look another. But I have it drawn as one wall. You must split it. So what you're going to want to do is you want to go up here to Split Element. You want to come through and you want to actually split where this is going to be and we'll say it's about midway up the wall there. So now these are two separate walls. So if you want to paint something different on this wall, you can now do so. As of right now, there's a carpet material that's painted on this wall. You can actually paint something else and if you notice I just put my mouse over on top…
