- [Instructor] Let's take a look at some of the Navisworks internal settings. Go ahead and open up a model. It can be our Navisworks model that we're working on. Let's go to the blue N pull down, the Home button. Let's come down here to Options. Notice we have a lot of options. Click to General, you can undo, you can have project or site directories, local caching environment, I like auto save. I like to auto save and it's good to remember where these go. Let's go to the interface, display units, I'm in the United States, I like to go feet and inches, fractions but you can change that. Section's a good one. I like to enable the capping and the outlying colored. Capping meaning it gives you the little grid. Let's come down to Quick Properties. Definitions. So, if you hover over an item in Revit, it'll give you a temporary tool tip. We can change or add any category or property just by clicking on the Add Element button.
