- So, what are the next steps? Unfortunately, this is a fundamentals class, and we went through everything really fast, and just kind of kissed on things lightly. But, there's a lot of things out there that you can do next. So, first thing comes to mind, higher learning, higher education, go to a university, check them out. If you're going to be an architect or you're going to be an industrial designer or product designer, it's likely they're going to have a great materials course, probably beginner, intermediate, and advanced. And they'll also have the facilities that you'll need for prototyping, I mean, maybe even manufacturing. And if you're not going to go this route, there's another great thing out there.
