(light music) - One of the most visible aspects of any construction site is all the heavy equipment that's running around on the project. Now, one of the most visible pieces of heavy equipment are the cranes that are sticking up in the air. Now, these cranes are used all day long on every project to unload material off of trucks, hoist it to where we're gonna use it on the project site, move it around to a storage yard, hold it in place while we install it, and bolt it, and weld it. We use cranes a lot on construction projects, so if you've ever tried to run one of the claw machines in an arcade, and you think that's difficult ... (upbeat music) Try running that crane and holding a wall in place while the construction crews secure it. The people that run these cranes, the crane operators, or sometimes they're referred to as operating engineers, they hold a really unique position because a crane operator tends to only operate a crane.
