Tool crib management for manufacturing shops
(upbeat music) - Today I'm here at Surefire, standing in front of the tool crib where all the tools are stored for all the manufacturing that goes on in the shop. I'm here with Omar and Gedalia who's going to be setting up the machine and setting up these tools over here. But first we're going to go ahead and select some tools from the tool crib. Now this piece of equipment here allows that you store about 50 different trays like this one behind me, with a whole bunch of different styles of tools. So Omar, can you tell us a little bit more about what's going on here and why you might want a using system like this in a machine shop? - Well we came up with this idea of getting a Ramstar. What happens is we would have these blue cabinets where you store things horizontal. So we got this machine, where you use space upwards. So, it's very convenient machine. I'll show you how it works.
