Pitching framing for roof joists

- [Instructor] Let's pitch our steel, shall we? In this video, I'd like to frame in the roof using pitched steel. Also, I'd like to add bar joists with a 2 1/2 inch joist seat. In Revit, let's jump into our structural model. Let's go up to our Roof level. If you remember correctly, we set these columns down minus one foot, notice we have top offset minus one foot. So, the framing's not going to be as easy as it was on our second floor. That's okay, bear with me. Go to the Structure tab. Let's go to Beam. Let's select our W14 by 30 in our type selector dropdown. Now, make sure that you have 3D snapping turned on. We have to draw them one by one. Make sure that you are snapping to the point on your column, that way our analytical model will be joined. So, click on point to point. Now, unfortunately, you have to hit Escape once. And then go point to point, Escape once, point to point, Escape once, point to point…
