Placing boundary conditions

- [Instructor] Now that we've combined forces to dominate the universe, we can start placing boundary conditions. By doing this, we can establish a point, a line, or an area where we want to apply to our analytical model. In this video, we're going to place point boundary conditions to the bottom of all of our piers and pilasters. Then we'll place the release boundary condition to the top of all of our steel columns. To get started, let's jump into Revit, browse to where you're keeping your exercise files, and open the structural model. Of course, you can open any model you want. In the project browser, let's go to 3D views and let's go to analytical model. And here we have our analytical model, but we don't have any loads placed. Let's do that.
