- [Instructor] Okay, I can't stop playing with my bolts. What I want to do is make a plate, add a global parameter for material. First, grab any one of your bolts. Let's click Edit Family. Go to a 3D view. Select your washer. Hold down the Control key. Select your bolt. For material, click into here. Let's click our browse button. We'll find something to use as a default. So let's type in steel. See what we come up with. Okay, there's a bunch down here. Don't want rod, iron, metal, metal, metal, metal, stainless, getting close, steel. Let's grab this AISI 1015. If you click it, click load into project. Let's click Apply. Let's click OK. That's just going to be our default. So remember we need to associate the family parameter. So click that icon, click New Parameter. We'll just simply call it Material. Remember to type parameter when we go looking for it later. Click OK, click OK. Now let's load that into…
