Post-processing with scanner software
- [Instructor] At this step I have completed all of my scans. I've taken multiple scans and I've brought them into the proprietary software that comes along with my scanner. This software is going to operate very similarly to all other softwares that come along with all of the other scanners. And at the most basic level it brings in the multiple scans and orients and aligns things. I have those targets, those little markers that I put on my bin to help align things. And because those are there it makes the scans align much easier. If they're not there the system may use some various features off of the part and if it still misses, if things don't align correctly there are tools there that allow you to do that align as well. The next thing at the most basic level these softwares allow you to do is clean up the mesh. As you can see I have a little bit of noise on the periphery of the part.
