Professional organizations
- [Instructor] When you're planning your career in BIM management, it's always helpful to have various resources and support systems surrounding you, and the first such support system are professional organizations. Now, these aren't necessarily BIM-specific organizations. Instead, these professional organizations are groups of your peers or supporting individuals that have industry knowledge and they're here to promote, support, grow, and enhance the industry by educating and helping each other. These could be groups of architects or professional engineers. But these organizations are here to help expand your knowledge and give you a better understanding of the industry that you're supporting. These organizations are also great opportunities to network with people within your region that may work for different companies, so if, as you wanna progress in your career, these will help grow those outside contacts, which may allow you to move from job to job to higher positions.
