- [Instructor] Now I wanna talk about project and intersect. Again, under the Curve tab we have Project and the way this works, pretty straight forward, you can select curves and or points, so you can actually project points. I'm gonna pick this curve. What do I wanna project to? I wanna project let's say up to this surface. Now, based off of my projection direction I can determine which way I wanna go. So if I just say Face Normal you notice all the direction stuff goes away. So now this curve is projecting along the normals of that face. I'm gonna create that and then I'm gonna come back and do the exact same thing. I'm gonna project this curve to that surface but this time I'm gonna change it to along a vector. What's the vector? I'll just use my vector constructor right here, pick that as my Z and you'll notice that there is a difference. The curve that I just projected, this is along a vector direction.
