Project objects to section view
- [Instructor] Similar to profile views, we can also project objects on the section views. And you can project similar type of objects. Linear objects as well as features such as AutoCAD blocks or Civil 3D points. Let's see how we can do that. Let's go ahead to our exercise, 09_06_ProjectObjects, and we're going to identify the view labeled station 7+50. We're going to select that view, and in the contextual ribbon, we have Project Objects to View. So I'm going to go ahead and select that. Now, if I pan over to corridor and the plan view here, you'll notice that there is a light line running parallel to the road, this is a feature line. It is going to represent the water line. So again, we're going to select that, press enter. It's a feature line, but this case, notice the direction of the section view and the direction of these linear feature lines, this water line. So unlike the profile view in this case, the feature line will be more cut in a cross-sectioned look. So similar to…
