The Properties palette

- [Instructor] We're now going to start a new chapter and look at working with the Properties palette. Now, one of the quickest ways to bring up the Properties palette really quick and easily is to press Control + 1 on your keyboard. There's the Properties palette right there. If I press Control + 1 again, it disappears. I can also go to the View tab and look in the Palettes panel, and there's Properties there. That'll bring it up on the screen as well. Of course I can close it, just by clicking on the little cross there that says "Close." Now, ideally we want to be looking at our Properties palette. So let's open it again by clicking on Properties here. Now, some of the features of the Properties palette that you might not be aware of. It's dockable. So I can click on the title bar and drag it over here, and it will dock like so. And the nice thing is once it's docked, I can start fooling around with some of the…
