- There is no better way to learn about something than doing it. Here are two recent projects we worked on. One single family remodel and one large mixed use development. Single family residential, eschalon residents renovation and addition. In this project, we took an existing mid-century modern house and re-imagined that with the new facade and addition of a master bedroom, site improvements and a new pool and pavilion. We started by reviewing the zoning and site conditions, which revealed that the project was in a special design district and also on a hillside. This pose significant limitations to the size, configuration and even the aesthetics of the new design. Identifying these limitations early in the process is critical in achieving a well-balanced solution.
