- Let's look at two recent offices we designed. One following a more traditional private office layout, and another using an open office concept. Both projects involved rehabilitating and renovating an existing building to accommodate the new office space. Beverly Hills Law Firm. In this project, we worked with a prominent legal firm to create an office environment suitable for this growing law practice. Because of the privacy requirements of the various associates, most of the offices needed to be enclosed and private. We compensated for this by creating various flexible and open spaces that would encourage interaction, collaboration, and serendipitous encounters, such as open mini-lounges, a basement theater and game area, and a historic speakeasy bar and conference room, and an updated penthouse with sprawling roof deck, boasting vistas of nearby Beverly Hills landmarks.
