- [Instructor] Sometimes the information that you get from these material takeoffs can be nothing but a big garbled piece of information. If that comes out this way, there are ways that you can control what information you see and ways that you can combine the information so that you can get the most out of your project. One of those could be, if you could go back into your floor plan and say, for instance, you're putting a different type of material onto a floor. Instead of having to build the floor all over again, go and use the paint tool for what it's there for. We're going to use carpet here and paint on top of that floor. So you don't have to sit here and do the material all over again and now if I just painted this floor with a red carpet and now if you notice if you get and you look, actually I think it was already carpet before then we go back and do another one.
