Restoring a backup

Restoring a backup

- [Instructor] In this video, I'd like to restore a backup. When disaster strikes, this is a pretty good tool. In Revit, go to your collaborate tab. Let's go to restore backup. Browse to where your file's shared model is, and you will see that backup folder. I'm gonna go into the backup folder, and that's all Revit wants. So click open. Now we can see exactly when someone has synced their model, and the date, time saved. Now what we can do is we can either do a save as, or we can roll back. So I wanna roll back to this date and time right here. I'll click roll back. Can't be undone, you sure? Yes. I'm gonna hit close. I'm gonna go to open. I'm gonna grab my rolled back model. I'm gonna open it up. So now I've rolled it back to before I saved it that one time. Again, another quick lesson, but man, this could save you hours and hours of time.
