Rotational tube laser cutting
- Wow, so this is the rotational laser cutter? - Yes, it is. - Wow, it's an impressive machine. - Yep. - Today we're here in Industrial Metal Supply, and I'm here with Rick Burkhart, and he's going to tell us a little bit about this machine behind us. Rick, can you tell us a little bit about what you can do on this machine and some of the capacities? - Sure, love to. What we've got here is a 4,000 watt laser. It's got a 26 foot feed in, 26 foot feed out. We can cut up to 10 inch diameter material, or eight inch square material. We do have the ability to make some custom chucks and we've made some for some of the custom sizes, but those are the basic sizes. - And can you do, like I-beams and stuff like that, too? - We can do I-beams, channels, tubes. We can do round tube, square tube, whichever you guys need us to do on this machine. - And what makes your machine extra special is that not only can that that laser cut, right, you also have the ability to drill and tap with it as well…
