- [Instructor] All right, so we've gone through and imported the STL file and now we want to do some curve creation or section creation through that STL. It's really important that you cut some sections through it to make sure that you can visualize the actual part. In a lot of cases, it's yeah, you look at the part, it's pretty easy to make it out but sometimes cutting a section will show you something or give you an idea of something that you may not have recognized from before. So, in this case, I'm going to use the Planar Section tool and specify my element, pick my part and then I can go through and specify the orientation of the plane as you can see here. What I'm going to use though is I want to pick an actual plane that I want to orient it to. Once I specify my plane, you'll see it sets up the sections through the part. And here I have infinite turned on meaning it's going to cut in infinite amount of planes through the part based off of this step that I have specified. So…
