Sending a model to Robot
- [Instructor] Although we can place and configure loads and load cases in Revit, we cannot do actual analysis in Revit. That's where Robot comes in handy. We now have a direct link to an analysis program that actually works seamlessly back and forth. So let's do it. Let's send this model over to Robot. Okay. Jump into Revit. Open the structural model we've been working on, or open any model that you wish to send to Robot. In the Analyze tab, notice we have Robot Structural Analysis. If you don't have Robot Structural Analysis, the Results Manager, and the Results Explorer, please watch the Getting Started video at the beginning of this course. We have the downloads you need to have these items. Now, click on Robot Structural Analysis. Let's go to Robot Structural Analysis Link. It's a two-way street. We can send the model. We can update our model. We can update model on results. We'll update the model…
