Set up environmental lighting

- [Instructor] Now that we have our environment set up, we can create an environmental light using a V-Ray dome light and this will cast additional light into the scene and start to create our lighting model. So let's start off by adding in a dome light. I'm going to hop out to my top viewport and let's go into Create. We're going to go over to Lights and we want to make sure we're in VRay and I'm going to select a VRayLight. Now, before I bring anything into the scene, I'm going to change the type to a Dome light. And then I'm just going to left click in the scene. The positioning of this light doesn't really matter. So I'm going to position it kind of right by the camera on the front lawn. Now, once I've done that, I can make sure the light is selected and we can go over to the Modify panel. Now I'm going to hop out to my camera viewport and let's do a test render.
