- [Instructor] So while you're creating surfaces, or sheet bodies, there are a lot of different settings that you have to consider there. And typically once you get those settings all set up, you don't really have to worry about them. But, I wanna make sure you understand what those settings are, and where they're at, because there is a couple of different areas you can go to for those settings. Now, the first one is located under File, Utilities, Customer Defaults. Customer defaults basically are almost all of the overarching defaults for anything that you going to do in NX. And here, we have freeform modeling, and you'll also see freeform parameters. The term freeform basically refers to the various modules or tools in NX for surfacing. So anytime you see the word freeform, think surface. So, under freeform modeling you'll see a curve fit method, you have cubic, quintic, advanced.
