Switching on Quick Properties (QPMODE)

- [Instructor] We're moving into a new chapter now where we're going to start looking at the Quick Properties Setting in AutoCAD. Now, up until now, we've talked about the properties palette. So I can go and select something like a dimension like this right click and go to properties. Now you'll notice that brings up the properties palette and I can drag that around dock it if I need to and so on. They remember that from previous chapters in the course, I'm going to close the properties palette and just hit escape now to de-select that dimension. Now you would have noticed when I selected that dimension and what I did was I right-clicked you've got quick properties down here on the shortcut menu and there's the little quick properties box there like so, and it just gives a quick overview of the properties of that particular dimension.
