- [Narrator] Some problems with 3D prints can fairly easily be diagnosed as being caused by your printer, the material you're using, slicer settings, or perhaps the geometry of the print. However, the hardest problems to solve could be once where several or all of these interact. In this chapter we review a few situations where you might have to consider multiple factors at once to achieve a desired result. Getting the surface of your print to look the way you want it to is one thing that can require a systematic approach. You might want to try to minimize layer lines or add texture to your print. - [Instructor] Getting this right requires thinking about your printer settings, your material, the physical limitations of your printer and possibly the print's geometry.
