- [Instructor] On any project where pushing the technology to a team, an entire group, or the entire organization is required, someone needs to take ownership of that initiative, and often it will be you as the BIM manager. In this case, you're taking the authority bestowed upon you to make a project a success. Be ready to work with all the previously mentioned stakeholders, internal, external, and the client, as required to make this initiative successful. Then spread the appreciation of their efforts by acknowledging the hard work of everyone involved in the process. That's what leaders do. They enable, they solve problems, they delegate, and they bring those individuals up along with them that followed their lead. Taking ownership is not always glamorous, but it's usually respected internally, particularly when great financial commitment and benefit come out of it. And it is often fulfilling work.
