- [Instructor] Ah, yes, templates. Seems like this topic should be first, but I like to add it here. I'm adding to Standards Adherence because if your templates are good enough, people have no choice but to adhere to the standards. Let's take a look at a checklist I like to use while developing templates. The first thing is pay equal attention to each trade. You're not going to be a pro at every trade. Pay equal attention to the trades you don't know as much about. Be sure to include trade leads, and sit in on trade meetings. This helps quite a bit. Make sure only usable content is in those templates. Don't bog your templates down with every possible desk, diffuser, or disconnect. Load what you know you're going to use for most projects, and make sure you have the rest of your content in an easily accessible, easy to get to, read-only place on your network. Lineweights.
