Text styles
- We're starting a new chapter now in our learning AutoCAD course. And we're going to start thinking now about annotating simple designs that we might create in AutoCAD. For that we've got a new drawing for you, it's called annotation.dwg and as usual you can download it from the library to follow along with the videos. Now just before we get started, just a couple of little bits of housekeeping as well, you can see the design on the screen in front of you and the drawing. Just make sure in the layers panel here that you're using the text layer. Because obviously we're going to place text because we're going to start thinking about creating a text style. That way we know that we're on the right layer when we start placing text in the drawing. Before we place any text though we have to think about creating a text style.
