- Creating thin-walled prints is another situation that requires a bit of tweaking. If you're trying to make something with thin walls, there are few things you'll have to consider, but first let's define what a thin walled print is. Sometimes a print will have a part that's very thin, even if the whole part's substantial. Imagine a bird. It's open wings would become very thin in places. Another example is trying to print a figure of a character wearing loose clothing, like a skirt or a long coat or a scarf blowing in the wind.
