- [Narrator] Now that our overall form is built, we should make some openings. I'll be working on the side and top view first. We're going to use a simple and easy technique that you will love. We have the final form here already turned on, so let's zoom in, and make a few observations. Notice how this opening is following the overall form shape. It may not be readily apparent until you get really really close. So, you can now see how the underside flows along with the top, maintaining a uniform depth, or simulating thickness. So a few strategies to discuss, we're going to be implementing here. Always build your overall form first, then we'll come back in and make openings. We'll be taking curves that we create and projecting them so that they hit the surface. Then we can use them for splitting. This creates openings which we will then simulate the thickness.
