- [Instructor] So far in this chapter of the course, we've covered lots of things on civil construction drawings like existing conditions, site plans, grading plans. We've covered landscape and irrigation plans. Let's take a look at one last thing that we haven't talked about yet, which is the underground utilities. Let's click through our drawings and actually we did point this out earlier in the course. We looked at a new storm drain that has to be installed, and that's shown on the site plans, so the storm drain is just an underground pipe that's going to carry water away from our property line and out into the city storm drain system. And I just want to take a look at a couple of final details that you need to understand related to things like the storm drain, sewer or water, different types of underground utilities.
