Understanding V-Ray render elements
- [Instructor] Now that we have our lighting set up we can move on to final rendering. Now we could just render out a single image using the lighting that we have, but if we want more control over the final image we can do what are called render elements in V-Ray. And this renders out all of the different channels of the render separately, so that we can composite them back in via Photoshop. And this allows us to have finer control over the final image. Now before we go too far into this let's take a look at what render elements look like as images. Now the main image is just going to be the render that we get with our lighting. Now to that we can add in additional render elements. So, for example, this is a global illumination element, this is lighting, and as you can see, each one of these has a different effect. And we can use this in Photoshop to composite with the image. So, for example, this is global illumination…
