VDC manager
- [Instructor] Much like how BIM coordinator and VDC coordinator are closely related, and some people would even say they're the same role, you could also say the same thing about a BIM manager and a VDC manager. Now, I almost put the BIM manager and VDC manager videos together because they're so close to one another in their qualifications and in their basic duties, but I do want to make a clarification between what the difference is between those two roles. Assuming that the BIM manager works more on the design side and that the VDC manager works more on the construction side, BIM managers are much more likely to have experience in making sure that construction documents have the right look and feel about them, meaning they'll look more at line weights and line styles and how drawings print out than someone that's over on the VDC manager side of the business typically would do.
