This course is all about understanding and pricing construction change orders and is part of our series on becoming a construction estimator. In this course, we focus on what a change order is, how it impacts the construction project, how to price and negotiate a change order, and understand the impact of multiple change orders on a project. You see, change orders have long been a source of controversy, and sometimes disagreement, between owners and contractors. The better you understand change orders, including how they are priced and how they affect the project, the better you can discuss it with your customer and eliminate potential conflicts.
