- [Instructor] In this video, I'd like to take a look at a new feature involved in file sharing in Revit. It used to be that when I had work sharing turned on, I would make sure that nobody opened a model, from this dialog here, which would mean that you could open your local model of a file shared project. However, your model would soon be out of date quickly. So I would always say go to Models, Open, find your shared model, and open that. Let's look at how we can turn on file sharing, and open a model right from our dialog here. So under models let's go new. I'll use my architectural template, and click OK. Let's save this somewhere. For the file name, I'm just going to call this Work Sharing, and I'm going to click Save. Now, let's go to the Collaborate tab. Let's click on Collaborate right here. Let's collaborate within our network, and click OK. For work sets, let's click on our Worksets icon. Let's make sure that our shared levels and grids are not editable. But this project has…
