Working with the Status Bar in AutoCAD

- We're in a new chapter now and we're going to be taking a look at the AutoCAD status bar. We have a new drawing for you, you may recognize it. It's 00-GND-1031 SE Madison.DWG. Now it is very similar to other 1031 SE Madison drawings that you've used in the course. Make sure you download the appropriate .DWG file to follow along with this particular chapter because there are some items in this .DWG file that you need for the videos in this chapter as well. So we've got the drawing open, we're in the model space, and we've zoomed to the extent. And we're looking at the status bar. Now the status bar is down here, bottom right in your AutoCAD screen. And what it allows you to do is switch on various different drafting settings that you can work with. So for example, it's telling me there that I'm in the model space, and we've got things like grid, snap, and as we work our way along ortho mode, polar tracking. We've also…
