- [Instructor] Here's a feature that used to be an add on to Revit, but has now been integrated with the actual main program. It's called the selection box. I love this command, but there's a couple things to look out for. Open any model you want. I'm going to jump into this model that I just currently had open. In my model I'm going to jump down to a floor plan. So in your model just jump down to any floor plan that you want to go to. Now if there's an area of interest. Say I'm going to zoom in on my mechanical room here, I want to see a 3D view of just this area based on some items that I have selected. One thing that's cool is I can select my actual space, or I can click on elements. So if I select maybe this piece of mechanical equipment, maybe hold down my control key and select this piece of mechanical equipment, I have two objects selected. Now on my view tab, I'm going to click on selection box. Now if I zoom in on this area, I can hit escape a couple times. Notice that I'm…
