- [Narrator] To analyze the shape of a curve as well as the continuities of a curve as they come to the end points of one another. I have a tool called Porcupine curvature analysis Select my porcupine curvature analysis, Pick my curve and it sets up these quills with this green envelope curve. Now there's a couple of different types of analysis there's radius and there's curvature. Let me go ahead and increase the length of the quill. One is inverse of the other so what's going to happen is I'm measuring the radius. Radius is typically used for longer, broader, flatter curves. Maybe you are doing something across the hood of a car. Something like that with big, long, broad strokes. Radius os really good to use for those types of curves.
