How to create offsets

- Now I want to talk about the Freestyle Offset. With the Freestyle Offset, I have Simple and Variable. With Simple, you select the surface you want to offset, it offsets it the distance. You have some control over tolerance. If you want to, you can control based off of the order as well. We'll just leave it at tolerance, and select OK. Now notice that if I leave everything as-is, it moves the surface. I'm just going to hit Ctr-Z on the keyboard and undo that. If I do Offset once again, and I want to do an offset of that surface without moving the surface, there is an option here that says Keep Original on my dashboard. I'm going to turn on Keep Original. So now when I create my offset, you'll notice that the original is left alone and the new surface is generated. I'll undo that. I'm going to come back in, do another offset, and this time I'm going to do a Variable. Select my surface and you'll see I have a…
