Match surfaces

- [Instructor] Often times, you end up with surfaces that no longer have clean meeting conditions across the boundaries. This is an extreme case, just for demonstration purposes. You can see there's a large gap. If you'd made small modifications to the adjacent surfaces, you may not have the continuity required across those boundaries, and to get those continuities back, we use a tool called Match Surface. With this, you select the edge you want to move to the edge you want to move to, and as soon as I do that, it moves that edge to the adjacent surface. Here you can see it's making its curvature continuous. Now, also at the same time, I have this little information that pops up, it says your surface is overconstrained. The reason why it's overconstrained is this goes all the way back to our continuities. If I'm imposing a curvature continuity, it requires a bit of math. Well this is telling me that there's not enough math…
